12 units and mutual aid responded for a 1213 fire in the Village of Christiana with possible subjects trapped. E12 arrived first with their own hydrant across the street as Tower 12 arrived next forcing two doors for entry and initiating a quick search. Engine 12 located a fire in the front bedroom and made a quick knock of the fire. BC12 arrived as Christiana Command. Tower 12 OV located the occupant attempting to exit through the rear but was partially disabled and unable to get out on her own. The occupant was assisted out of the home and to awaiting A12 crew who assessed her with ALS who arrived shortly after. Mutual aid companies arrived and assisted with secondary searches and overhaul. The incident was placed under control within 30 mins as the occupant was transported to the ER with minor smoke inhalation. DSFMO is investigating the cause.
