Engine 12, Tower 12, Deputy 6, Chief 12-8 and Ambulance A12, along with automatic aid companies responded to fire box 1216 this afternoon. Engine 12 and Tower 12 arrived with a one story house with smoke showing. Fire was found and extinguished in the kitchen and back day room. Two larger, but friendly, “Maine Coon” cats were rescued by crews and transported by A12 to an emergency animal hospital not far from the scene. #ChristianaFire
