Tower 12 responded to Interstate 95 in the 1295 box grid for a crash with a patient severely trapped after clearing from the house fire this morning. Engine 12 was committed on a shooting elsewhere in the first due and was not able to respond to the crash. Minquas Fire Company #1 Rescue 23 responded on the assignment and arrived first to confirm a patient severely trapped. Deputy 6 was responding as the duty chief and requested an additional rescue to be alerted, this brought Cranston Heights Fire Company Rescue 14 as an additional rescue on the assignment. The patient was extricated and transported to the trauma center by BLS ambulance and New Castle County Paramedics. #ChristianaFire
