*NEW ENGINE* The Christiana Fire Company is proud to announce our official contract with Seagrave Sales and Service - New Jersey on the purchase of a new engine to replace the current Engine 12. The current Engine 12 will then be rotated with the new one to preserve the life time of both engines. The new engine is going to be a Seagrave Marauder featuring the following: - 650 Gallon Water Tank - 500 HP Cummins X12 Motor - Marauder 141 Cab - Lowered Hose Bed than current CFC engines - Rear Intake and Discharge for supply line - Front Intake A few of the more notable differences in the new engine compared to the current CFC engines are: - 650 Gallon Water Tank - An additional 2.5” static bed - Rear 4” Discharge - No 2.5 dead lay in the cross lay - No full rear compartment We look forward to the upcoming process and build of our new engine!
