Late last night the box assignment for the 1218 grid was dispatched for Christiana and automatic aid companies. Several callers reported a residence in the area of the Texas Road House on Pulaski Highway to be on fire. Tower 12 arrived to find the reported residence with fire showing from both floors and all sides of the residence. Engine 12 completed a forward lay from the closest hydrant and stretched an attack line. Engine and Tower 12 attempted to make a push inside for reports of entrapment. The fire reached a point that crews had to evacuate the residence. Engine 12 supplied the Tower’s aerial and also placed two 2.5 lines in service. The fire was placed under control several hours later. Several residents were injured and the fire is under investigation by the State FM Office and the County Police. #ChristianaFire
