On August 2nd Station 29 (Port Penn) received a verbal report of a house on fire on Thorntown Road. Chief 29 arrived reporting fire showing. The box alarm sent Ladder 12 as the first due Ladder. Units from 29 and 15 quickly controlled the fire. Ladder 12 was cleared however Engine 12 and Squad 6 arrived and assisted with overhaul. Units operated for 30 minutes.
