Working Fire

On January 27th at about 1500 Box 1232 was alerted for smoke coming from a house at the 600 Block of Old Baltimore Pike. Squad 6, Squad 12, Rescue Engine 12, Ladder 12, Deputy Chief 6 and 12 responded. Deputy Chief 9 arrived and reported a one story private dwelling with fire showing from the B/C sides. Squad 12 arrived 1st and took the 1st Engine assignment. Rescue Engine 12 was the 2nd Engine and Squad 6 the third. Ladder 12 was first special service. Deputy 6 arrived and took command.  Ladder Company 9 arrived and assumed second special service. The ladder crew forced the front door open and found hoarders conditions. The Ladder quickly cleared a path for squad 12 who got water on the fire. Searches proved negative. Companies operated for one hour and thirty minutes. There were no injuries.
