Just before 2100hrs, as Turkey day prep was begining in the firehouse, Engine 12 was alerted to assist Millcreek Fire Co. (21) on a residential fire in the 400 Block of Tamara circle. Deputy Chief 6 & Engine 126 arrived first to find fire showing from a 1-story single family dwelling. The working fire upgrade also dispatched Ladder 12 to the scene who arrived as first special service. Crews found fire in the basement and 1st floor. Engine 12 handled extinguishing the fire as Ladder 12 searched the residence and found fire extending into the attic. Quick work by companies on scene brought the fire under control within minutes. Chief 21-8 had command. Crews operated for over 2-hours.
