Nature of Position:
Employees will be responsible for staffing basic life support ambulances on a daily basis. Duties include reviewing ambulance condition, fuel level and supplies at the beginning and end of each shift. Part time employees will not staff fire apparatus.
Hours of Work:
0600 hours - 1800 hours [2 crews]
1800 hours - 0600 hours [2 crews]
Compensation:
$14.50 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:
- United States citizen or documented proof of work eligibility
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Must be at least twenty one (21) years of age
- Possess a valid State of Delaware Class "B" Non-CDL Drivers License and Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Passion for outstanding patient care,
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, responsible and reliable
- Knowledge of applications to complete various reports, including use of the EDIN/DIMES and Firehouse software system
Must Have Successfully Completed and Provide Documented Proof of the following:
- NREMT-B & State of Delaware EMT-B certified with a minimum of one year practical experience
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR Certification and AED
Requirements:
- Candidates will be required to provide record of and pass a full driving record and criminal background check.
- All employees are required to participate in payroll direct deposit.
