On July 14th at 16:33 hours the Christiana Fire Company was dispatched to an MVC on Interstate 95 southbound at the service plaza. Duty Chief Matt Lutz (6-8B) arrived and found one person trapped. Engine 126 under the command of Captain Billy Anderson Jr. arrived with BLS B12 and performed a side wall removal on the vehicle and quickly removed the patient. The patient was transported to Christiana hospital in stable condition. While the units were being restored for service they were directed to respond to another MVC at Old Baltimore Pike and Salem Church Road.
