July 1, 2009 - Christiana Fire Co. responded to 150 Creekside Ct. for a Townhouse fire with smoke in the residence.Rescue engine 3-6 was first on scene with smoke showing, followed by 12-6 and ladder 12. As crews entered the residece they found that the fire was in the attic. Chief Brian Reeder arrived on scene and took command.Chief Reeder directed additional manpower to 148 Creekside to check for extension, and though crews found no visible fire the residence did have smoke and water damage. Unit 150 suffered extensive fire, smoke, and water damage. Chief Reeder placed the fire under control at approximately 0130 hours. Additional units responded from Goodwill, Wilmington Manor, Aetna HH&L, Minquas, Delaware City, and NCC EMS.
