On July 2nd Ladder Company 12 was assigned to cover Tower 27 in Downtown Middletown. There was a basement fire in the Summit Pond Development off of Summit Bridge Road, where a full assignment was operating. While Ladder 12 was responding to Station 27 they were assigned to the fire scene. Ladder 12 arrived and operated as the RIT company. Ladder 12 operated for one hour.
