About 6 hrs after the first fire, Christiana Fire units were alerted to assist Delaware City (15) on a reported residential fire in the Kirkwood St George's area. Assistant Chief 15 arrived on scene with fire showing and Squad 12 arrived as first due Engine with their own hydrant stretching an attack line into the structure to begin a intense fire attack on the 1st floor. Ladder 12 arrived next and began a search under intense conditions for possible missing occupants while Squad 6 stretched an attack line to the 2nd floor encountering heavy fire conditions while the Ladder crew searched. In a team effort by Delaware City Fire units and mutual aide Companies, fire damage was controlled to one side of the residence. Christiana units remained on scene for over 3hrs until released by Delaware City Command.
