On July 20th Ladder and Engine 12 were alerted to 325 S Dupont Hwy for a motel fire. ALS 13 (Paramedic Lieutenant) arrived with with fire showing. Engine 12 arrived and stretched an attack line and Ladder 12 arrived and split into the inside and outside team. The Barman and Officer searched the rooms, The OV completed the side C report and opened up while the apparatus operator vented the roof. Units operated for 1 hour and 30 minutes. One firefighter was transported to Christiana trauma center.
