Members attend SOC Training

Monday, June 13, 2016

This past weekend, members of the Christiana Fire Company attended a 3 day course in Building Collapse and Emergency Shoring for Firefighter Rescue and Support taught by Murray and Associates. Members were taught various shoring techniques and practiced utilizing Double T, Raker and Pneumatic Shores, while shoring up racked windows and collapses inside of the dwelling. Members also participated in firefighter mayday drills as a result of a building collapse. Special thanks goes out to the NCC Collapse Team, the Clayton Fire Company, the DVFA, and Murray and Associates.
