First Due House Fire!

Just after 1100hrs on the 3rd of March 2016, Christiana Fire's Engine 12 was dispatched for a unknown type fire on Robert Road in the Greenbriar Estates section of the district. While enroute the alarm was upgraded to a Box Alarm reporting a house fire sending Mutual aide companies to assist. Engine 12-6 arrived onscene with smoke showing, crew stretched a handline to the first floor where they quickly identified that there was a basement fire. Ladder 12 arrived next and began their duties of searching for possible trapped victims and assisting the Engine to get to the seat of the fire. Deputy Chief 6 arrived and assumed command requesting additional companies to the scene after crews reported the fire had extended to the 1st floor and possibly the attic.
